(Roof systems)

Built for the roof you actually have.

Tile, shingles, foam, and membrane roofs fail in different ways. We inspect the complete assembly, not only the material visible from the ground.

01 / Tile

Concrete and clay tile

We inspect the reusable finish, but diagnose underlayment, flashing, battens, transitions, and penetrations beneath it.

02 / Shingle

Asphalt shingle systems

Attachment, seal strips, valleys, flashing, ventilation, and aging patterns matter as much as the visible shingle field.

03 / Low slope

Foam, coating, and membrane

Drainage, seams, scuppers, curbs, penetrations, compatibility, and trapped moisture determine the viable path.

(One working method)

From first photo to final walkthrough.

The size of the project changes. The process stays clear: document the condition, explain the options, define the work, and preserve the record.

  1. 01

    Inspect the condition

Walk the roof, review accessible interior evidence, and photograph relevant details.

    Condition record

  2. 02

    Explain the paths

Separate immediate protection, repairable details, maintenance, and system-level work.

    Prioritized options

  3. 03

    Define the scope

Name materials, preparation, allowances, access, exclusions, and the change process.

    Written plan

  4. 04

    Build and close out

Complete approved work, document concealed conditions, clean the site, and deliver records.

    Final roof file

Not every inspection becomes a project. A clear “nothing urgent” answer is still a useful roofing outcome.

(Questions)

Common roofing questions.

Ask us anything about your roof. We’re happy to talk it through, even if it turns out you don’t need us yet.

How long does a roof last in Phoenix?

Usually less than people expect, because UV rather than rain is what wears roofs out here. On tile, the tile itself can last decades while the underlayment beneath it typically needs replacing well before that, and most so-called tile roof leaks are really underlayment failures. Asphalt shingle has a shorter life in this climate than in milder ones. Foam and coated flat roofs depend almost entirely on whether the coating is renewed on schedule.

Which service do I need?

Start with an inspection unless water is actively coming in, in which case call us for urgent roofing help. An inspection tells you whether you’re looking at a small repair, a larger one, or a replacement, and it’s the only reliable way to know. If a storm caused the damage, the answer may also involve an insurance claim. You don’t need to work out which service applies before calling us, that’s what the first conversation is for.

Do you charge for estimates?

No. Inspections and estimates are free with no obligation, and the report is yours whether or not you hire us. You’re welcome to take it to another contractor for comparison, which we’d honestly encourage on a large job. The exception is formal documentation for real estate transactions or engineering reports, which is a different kind of work, and we’ll say so plainly rather than pretending a standard visit covers it.

When is the best time to have roof work done?

Spring is the sweet spot, because it gets the work finished before monsoon season and the working conditions are comfortable. Autumn and winter are fine too. Summer work happens constantly, with crews starting early to stay ahead of afternoon heat. The time to avoid, if you have any choice, is the week after a major storm, when demand across the Valley spikes and every roofer’s calendar fills at once.

Do you work on commercial buildings as well as homes?

Yes, both. Residential work covers tile, shingle and low-slope systems on houses, rentals and small multifamily. Commercial covers flat and low-slope systems on occupied buildings, including documented roof walks, maintenance programmes, coatings and replacement, planned around tenants and operations. Multi-property portfolios across the Valley are straightforward to handle under one programme with consistent condition reporting.

Are you licensed and insured?

Licensed under Arizona ROC #347413, bonded, and insured. We are glad to provide our current license and insurance documentation before you commit to anything. Verifying a contractor through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors takes a minute and is worth doing regardless of who you are considering.

How soon can you come out?

For scheduled inspections, usually within a few days, and often sooner. For active leaks, call us as soon as you can. We stay ready to help and respond as weather, safe access, and crew availability allow. After a significant storm, calls arrive from across the Valley at once, so we will give you a realistic response window rather than promise a time we cannot keep.

(Not sure where to start?)

Let the roof tell us.

We will inspect it, show you what we find, and explain the next step without pressure.
